School and Statesville High School took top honors in the band competition sponsored by Randy Marion Chevrolet Pontiac
Buick. Both schools’ band programs received a cash prize and trophy from Marion (at right in both photos) during a ceremo-
ny this week at the dealership. Representing first-place Statesville High (below) were, from left, Zoe McMillan, Blake Brawley,
